ChatGPT

Launched as a prototype in November 2022, but constantly (self?-)improving, ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence chatbot developed by the artificial intelligence research laboratory OpenAI.

According to Wikipedia, ChatGPT is a member of the generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) family of language models. It can mimic a human conversationalist better than at least one of the editors of The Emigre, and is equally believed to pose an existential threat to humanity.
