Eric Stroud

A hitherto mild-mannered Civil Servant, living a life of blameless domesticity in the West London suburbs, one day, while searching for a new novel for his book club, Eric Stroud came across a volume that was universally well reviewed, beautifully marketed, and soaring towards the top of the bestseller lists. He duly bought The Lamplighters by Emma Stonex, encouraging five of his dearest friends to buy and read it too.
