Joanna Maidment

Born in Poland, Joanna lives, works and writes on Wurundjeri land / Melbourne, Australia. By day, she provides support to people with different abilities, while studying writing and publishing. By night, she writes fiction informed by personal experiences of migration, being a woman, and a desire for gender equality and social justice.

Her writing is preoccupied with erotic complications and difficult adult issues—love, infidelity, moral contrivance and survival. Her written work appears in the Erotic Review, Lickerish Library, Independent Australia and others. Most of all, she loves being a parent to her two sons and some cats.
