Benjamin Boutwood

Benjamin Boutwood is an overactive underachiever, committed to getting round to doing things when as and when the mood/moment strikes. Until he left Essex, in his mid 20s, the Boutwood clan had moved no more than 20 miles in some 400 years. Unsurprisingly, his family motto is 'not the face!’

He is the author of at least one book that will never see the light of day, and is obsessive about his current interests... until he isn't. (Don’t ask him about late-18th-century Newcastle artists, or 1930s Cornish Potters.)

He divides his time between Shropshire and Somerset, because – let's face it – life gets more complicated as one gets older.
