ASH Smyth
ASH Smyth is a freelance writer, breakfast radio presenter, and very occasional poet.
He has spent time in South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan, and has written for publications from America to Ethiopia, and from The Sunday Times to Early Music Today and/or The Amorist.
Much of the rest of his life (thus far) has been divided between singing as a Gentleman-extra-Ordinary at the Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace, and laboring on building sites.
He was once called a cheapskate by Paul McCartney, came joint-second in the Rain Men Player of the Year awards, and was named in the 10,000th issue of The Spectator.
He currently lives in the Falkland Islands.
